MAW Enterprises, the official distributor of Yamaha bikes and scooters for Nepal, has launched the fourth-gen Yamaha R15 V4 in the Nepalese market at a price of Rs 5,62,900 for standard colours and Rs 5,72,900 for the Racing Blue color. The bike was launched at a press conference at the company’s Blue Square showroom, Naxal.
The new R15 V4 models get updated styling, a USD fork, a quick shifter and a traction control system when compared to the outgoing model. The updated Yamaha R15 gets the R7-inspired styling, there is a revised front end now features a single projector-type LED headlamp unit which is reminiscent of the new R7. Sharp-looking LED DRLs flank it. The tail section looks similar to the one on the R15 V3.0 but appears to have large air ducts. The stays for the pillion-foot pegs and a new exhaust muffler also appear to be different this time.Powering the motorcycle is the same 155cc, four-valve, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 18.3 hp and 14.2 Nm of torque. The new R15M also gets a revised instrument cluster that features Yamaha's Bluetooth connectivity. The instrument cluster also gets two modes - Street and Track.In terms of equipment list, the Yamaha R15 v4 comes equipped with USD front forks, dual-channel ABS, a traction control system, and a quick shifter.Published Date: 2022-10-21 20:42:23
